Candlewood Suites Olympia/Lacey by IHG

I came here with my Trio group for a school trip, and let me tell you. GIRL it’s soo nice have their own kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, AND stove. I LOVED IT! It was so cozy, I slept so so amazing, thank you Candlewood. I’ll be definitely coming back!!

I stayed here for about a week while working on a very taxing project in Lacey. After a couple of disappointing stays elsewhere, this hotel was a relief. The front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable right away. My room was exceptionally clean—the cleanest hotel room I’ve stayed in at any price—which made it easy to relax at the end of long days. The complimentary laundry room was a huge help, and the free tea was a thoughtful touch. Everything about the experience made an otherwise stressful trip noticeably better, and I genuinely looked forward to returning "home" each night.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff made us feel genuinely welcome—not just us, but everyone we saw them interact with. They greeted each guest with kindness and warmth, always wishing people a good day with such sincerity. It set the tone for our whole stay. Angelina is amazing and always had a beautiful smile on her face!! The rooms were incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a full cooking set that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were unbelievably comfortable—like melt-into-the-pillows kind of comfort. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and honestly, we could’ve stayed longer. This hotel has absolutely everything you could possibly need to live here forever—and some people actually do! We heard stories of guests staying here for a year or even three years, and it's easy to see why. There’s free laundry, a well-stocked pantry where you can buy food whenever you need (charge it to your room or donate cash), and a great workout room. It’s close to everything and just incredibly convenient. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff here are amazing—they consistently go above and beyond to make sure you're happy and comfortable. You can feel the warmth and care in every interaction. We just absolutely love it here. Whether you're staying for a night or a year, this hotel wraps you in comfort and kindness. It’s more than a hotel—it’s a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Great amenities, updated rooms, and friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again :)

i love Candlewood Suites!! In my area (the Pacific Northwest) candlewood is ALWAYS decently priced! it is roughly the same pricing as extended stay america/ holiday inn but is much much nicer! the room is cozy yet roomy. the kitchenette comes fully stocked with dishes, pans, toaster, etc. they stock rooms with extra paper towel rolls and extra dish soap,the little things like that matter to me! in the bathroom they use Dove products! Guest Laundry is FREE!!! The staff is perfect! i mean incredibly perfect, pleasant, professional and friendly! there isn’t a problem they can’t solve!! i won’t stay anywhere else!!

I stayed for 30 days at candlewood suites in Lacey. Of the duration of my stay I ended up in different rooms. My first room was on the fourth floor, my neighbors next to me were a bit loud and worried me. I had no idea house keeping was going to knock on my door, I didn't let them in because I didn't know they would be coming. I left the hotel and came back at 6:30pm, my hotel door was cracked open. I went back to the front desk and asked the guy to escort me to my room, he checked my room made sure no one was hiding in there. But he said "mistakes happen" when I said my door was cracked open and I was worried about my stuff being messed with. A few days later they moved me to a new room which was very cozy. I noticed one of the brand new toilet papers had a large faint yellow stain throughout every layer of the toilet paper- just a heads up. Every staff member I talked to was very kind, most of the other people staying there were very kind. I was very thankful for the snack room and the free coffee was a plus. Only is 50 cents for the laundry and the washing machine lasts 30 minutes, laundry was a breeze and it was fun hanging in the gym while my laundry was going. I truly am appreciative. Thank you candlewood suites for keeping me safe!

Back in May we had a flood in our home. (Which we officially moved back into yesterday!) And. This truly felt like our home away from home. The staff was amazing! Susana, Charli, Annie, Kerrie, Emily and everyone else! They helped out with everything, even made sure that our mom was taken care of. So again thank you all for everything!

Great staff at this hotel!! Very accommodating!! Had a surprise storm- power outage- and needed a place to stay- possibly extended- so needed a kitchen. They delivered!! Really nice place- clean, lovely rooms, nice kitchens- fully stocked, quiet and comfortable. So glad we found it and so grateful for all their help in a very stressful situation!! Thank you staff for being so gracious and helpful. We appreciate you!!
